The staff at my doctor's office know me well. They have been through the 22 months with me. I was in there last year, 8 months into trying wondering what was wrong with me. I called every month for 4 months straight when I got my period to get another round of Clomid. I went in back in June for the IUI. And then, I was done by July. I called Nurse Lori and told her I needed, emotionally and financially, to take a break. I hung up the phone with Lori hoping I would have a reason to call her back soon because she just lifted my spirits. She is definitely one of those people you like being around.
I meet with Lori for my appointment last week. She is the main LPN. She hugged me as soon as she saw me and was so happy to see my name on the appointment list that day. She takes some samples then we head back to her office. We went over all the fun stuff. And the not so fun stuff too but overall a great appointment. I felt a part of the "club". My kick-ass doctor, Amy Johnson came in to Lori's office about 15 minutes in doing a little happy dance for me and said she just wanted to come in to say how happy she was.
Next update will come this Tuesday when we get our 6 week ultrasound to check out the little booger. Baby Zook is about the size of an orange seed right now. Until then!
