Monday, Feb 20th, I had a kidney biopsy to determine if I do have IGA Nephropathy. And it's confirmed, yes, I do. The last test to do is a 24 hour urine collection which I'll do at some point in the next couple weeks when I'm home all day. That test is looking for the amount of creatinine I'm getting rid of. The more I exercise, the more my muscles make, the more I spill?
Anyway, I'm hopeful for a "normal" life...no kidney dialysis or transplants. I am motivated to do everything I can do take best care of my kidneys. Even if it does mean giving up my daily diet pop...:) I have to stay healthy for you and your Dad. I want to be around as long as I can.
