Big Baby?

We are still measuring ahead of schedule. Doesn't necessarily mean Tank is bigger but yesterday at my 28 week check-up, I measured at 31 weeks.

We really won't know for sure how big he is until he decides to make his appearance. In the meantime, the best we can do is at my 32 week ultrasound; they will ballpark how big my little "ballpark frank" is. (New nickname?!) Nurse Lori said, "We don't need any 9 pound baby." Um, sure.

My blood pressure was high when I first came in, something crazy like 150/83, but I knew it was because I'd been bopping around the office getting weighed in, etc. Sometimes I can feel my heart beat in my chest with heavy thuds. They gave me some water, had me lie down on my left side for about 10 minutes and sure enough, my blood pressure was back to good: 122/64.

I told Jason and he said something like, "But the baby isn't coming until July though...?" I laughed, "I hope so too!" He is concerned about having to deal with his summer camps and a newborn. I don't blame him! We could be cutting it close here! Anytime after July 1st, Kiddo!

If my blood pressure stays down (I only mention it because they are watching me extra carefully due to the recent IGA-Nephropathy diagnosis), there is no reason they wouldn't let me go as long as I can. Possibly Baby will come early because he's ready. Or possibly, Baby will be a TANK and I'll be induced at 39 weeks.

I just hope my mom makes it out here before he comes! HELP! :) :)
