Trying to conceive: Some people just don't know how to respond.

My belly button is sore. Jason said it is probably because my abdominal wall is stretching. He added with a grin, "Because guess what? You're pregnant." Then he said more seriously, "It is nice to not see you cry anymore because you're not." I agreed and said I never take a day for granted. I celebrate wildly when I see or hear of others becoming pregnant. I can think back to a year ago....how different and dark I felt.

We have all heard it or known someone who had it said to them. Many of you have followed me through my journey mostly because I have talked about it fairly openly. It was a very volatile, isolating time for me and really there is nothing much you can say. Listen, don't try to fix it.

The article below is some interesting scenarios, humorous snarky comebacks, yet a reminder that there is something bigger than all of us.

Worst things to say to someone TTC

  1. i can still remember the moment you told me. it was before strike class and you said to me "I hate my body." i can't recall how i reacted, but i felt happy that you opened up to me about it, because i had no clue. seeing as you are now pregnant and remembering the place you were at this time last year....i honestly believe everything happened just as it should have. that all of those experiences had to take place to have you be where you are right now, and to have Tnuts be exactly who he is meant to be!
