The melted popsicle test, popping pills, and bizarre dreams.

Good news! I do not have gestational diabetes! Woo hoo! So we can't rule that as a reason Tank is a....tank. Maybe T was stretching out when the nurse measured or we can just say he's got a tall Dad.

In other news, T is hogging all the iron in my body so I have to take an iron supplement with orange juice from now on. Little rat. This could explain why I've been feeling OK but not stellar. Not exhausted but not super duper. Hopefully my energy will pick up. I still have so much to do!

They say you have weird dreams when you're pregnant but last night's dream topped them all. My dream was I had the baby but when he was placed on my stomach (here's the kicker), he had no eyes!! I wasn't scared but just concerned. I was in a room with other people and I called over to the nurse, "My baby doesn't have any eyes!" She said, "Oh don't worry, they will come in soon." I looked deep into his sockets where his eyes would be and of course, my mind's camera zoomed in to look closer. Pretty much red sockets that looked sewn in back. Crazy thing too is he was laughing and responding to me but I just kept staring at him. I moved him to my side then when I looked back at him, his eyes had come in. They were the same color as Jason's. Then, within minutes/hours, he was a toddler speaking in full sentences. I went over to the nurse again and said, "He's only a few hours old and he's speaking in full sentences!" She smiled at me. Then I woke up. And had the image of those sewn up sockets burned into my brain for the better part of my morning drive to work!

Childbirth Class #2 last night: We learned another breathing technique, talked about what labor will feel like and signs, watched a couple videos on natural births, and practiced more at the end. Next week is the hospital tour among other things. Love the class but maybe that's why I had such a weird dream...or maybe it was the Peeps I had before I went to bed....
