I am getting tired of going to the doctor. Well, I don't mind the OB check ups, especially the ones where I get to see Squirt Blurt dance. Friday brought some good news that maybe, at least for a while, I won't have to go so much.
Mr. Urologist said he found some WBC's (white blood cells) in my urine so that will be sent to the lab for a culture. If anything comes back positive, I will be put on some antibiotics for what could be possibly a mild kidney infection (that I've lived with for so many months.)
Other than that, Doc said he didn't see any need to pursue it further. I asked about the nephrologist and he said that was a possibility however he knows they would just do more tests. Not much they can do because I'm pregnant. He said they would possibly want to biopsy my kidney which, again, wouldn't happen now anyway because I'm pregnant. I could just be one of those people that leak a little protein and blood all the time, eh?
Overall, I ain't sweatin' it. I have no pain, Baby Zook is boppin' around with a strong little heart beat,and I got told there's no need for alarm or further testing at this point so I'm sticking to that.
