The results are IN!

The results to my kidney ultrasound came back completely normal. YAY! But hmmm, now why the reason for my f*ed up pee?

I got to see Baby Zook too again because the Squirt Blurt is sitting next to my bladder, waving its hands all around, dancing, punching, kicking, having a party. Takes after mama.

The next step was to see a urologist however one of my friends/clients is a doctor/internist (oncologist) and said I would do better seeing a nephrologist than a urologist since a urologist is a surgeon and just works on the mechanical aspect of the kidneys, among other things. Since the kidney structure came back normal, a nephrologist would be start to research why I am leaking protein and blood into the urine. My doc friend, W, said too and sometimes people just have it in there all the time and everything is completely benign!

W said he would call Dr. Amy (my OBGYN) and talk with her about me seeing a nephrologist instead of wasting my time at the urologist since kidneys look good. W joked, "He'll walk in after being 3 hours late from surgeries, look at you, look at the ultrasound, say you're fine and tell you to go to a nephrologist!"
